Welcome

I am essentially a figurative painter but I am drawn towards abstract patterns and shapes represented by colour and by strongly contrasting light and shade. 

I work primarily in oils or acrylics on canvas or board.

Also I occasionally make 'sculptural' pieces from recycled materials, including oak firewood.
